The Grove City Veterinary Hospital celebrates 30 years of serving Grove City and the Southwest Columbus area in 2005. Established April 1, 1975, the GCVH is dedicated to providing the best medical care for your dog and cat. We are a full service computerized veterinary hospital offering medical care, surgical care, preventive medicine, dentistry, diagnotics, radiology, vaccinations, flea and parasite control, heartworm prevention, behavior counseling, and weight control. . All soft tissue surgeries are done with the Accuvet laser to reduce swelling, bleeding and post operative pain in order to get your pet back on his/her feet quicker. Gas anesthesia is used routinely and the anesthetist stays by your pet's side from induction until he/she is awake. Our in-house lab is equipped to do complete blood counts, chemistry profiles, urinalysis, fecal parasite exams, heartworm checks and feline leukemia virus and feline immunodeficiency virus screening. Your pet is never left alone as a veterinary student lives on the premises and watches over hospitalized patients at night.
